VELI-PEKKA KUMPUMÄKI Mr. Kumpumäki is one of the youngest judges in Finland, but he has been actively involved with dogs all his life. Already as a child, his parents used to have a Collie and his neighbour, who was a remarkable breeder, introduced him to the world of show dogs. He purchased his first own Westie in 1979, and that changed his life. As a youngster, he worked as a kennelboy in several famous Terrier kennels in different countries and learned how to trim and groom. He has handled successfully dogs in every breed group in shows. Now he has his own trimming and grooming institute "Petwell". Also in the army, he served as a handler and trainer of the military dogs. He has been a very successful breeder of Westies and later on also Scotties, and has exported dogs to more than 10 different countries. He has bred over 70 Champions .Mr. Kumpumäki has been awarded the Vuolasvirta Plaque of the Finnish Kennel Club for successful breeding, being the youngest breeder ever to gain this merit. He also has the Golden Badge of the Finnish Westie Club, Breeders Plaque of Finnish Terrier Club and Finnish Dog Breeder Club´s golden Plaque. MVDr. GABRIELA RIDARČÍKOVÁ Celý môj život ma verne sprevádzajú fantastickí psi, ktorí boli vždy

mojimi najlepšími priateľmi. Prežila som s nimi nezabudnuteľné chvíle radosti, šťastia a voľnosti. Láska ku psom dokonca ovplyvnila aj moje

rozhodnutie stať sa veterinárnou lekárkou. Som medzinárodná

rozhodkyňa pre exteriér psov I., II., V. a X. skupiny FCI.

Posudzujem tiež všetkých španielov a vodných psov VIII. skupiny

a niekoľko plemien IX. skupiny FCI. Posudzovala som dvakrát na svetovej výstave dobermanov

- I.D.C. a tiež dvakrát na európskej výstave.

Posudzujem na rôznych medzinárodných, národných, klubových a špeciálnych výstavách

v rozličných štátoch ako napr. Taliansko,Fínsko, Rakúsko, Lotyšsko, Švajčiarsko, Poľsko, Rusko, Maďarsko, Česko,Slovinsko, Chorvátsko, Srbsko a Čierna hora a iné. Okrem posudzovania

exteriéru psov sa venujem aj ich výcviku. Štartovala som podľa IPO3 aj na majstrovstvách sveta

dobermanov v roku 1994 v Maribore so sučkou z môjho chovu Haike z Tomky.

Moja CHS „z Tomky“ vznikla 18. augusta 1975.Začiatky chovu sa spájajú s mojím obľúbeným plemenom boxer. Až v 80-tych rokoch som uskutočnila svoj sen a nádherné plemeno doberman

hrdo vykračovalo po mojom boku. Zamilovala som si ich fantastickú povahu, ich nesmiernu

srdečnosť, oddanosť a nekonečnú lásku, ktorou sú schopní človeka obdariť. Odchovali sme

viacerých interšampiónov a šampiónov rôznych štátov, ale pre mňa je určite najdôležitejší ten

prekrásny pocit radosti zo šťastia mnohých ľudí, ktorým naši psíkovia obohatili život a urobili im ho krajším a veselším. Dnes určite viem, že nikdy nemôžem žiť bez svojho dobermana, pretože

môj život by bol veľmi prázdny a smutný. MAGDALENA KOZLOWSKA My first pure-bred dog was a Fox Terrier Wire male. Although we spent only 3 years together, he would always be remem- bered by me, and no doubt I owe a lot to him, including my interest in dog breeds, particularly Terriers. In my early adulthood I had two Fox Terriers (Wire) bitches, but they were not bred from. I bred Giant Schnauzers (black) for 15 years (this is my husband’s favourite breed). The only breed I have now is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. My first SBT bitch (and my best friend) joined my family over sixteen years ago. Today, a 14-year old SBT lady and her daughter (almost 9 years old) share “their” sofa with me. My kennel name is Tryton. CATHY DELMAR Member of Judge’s Committee of The Irish Kennel Club. Ex.

Judged extensively for 30 years in 32 countries that included FCI

European Winner Show. Family Prefix 'Shillelagh' is one of the

most successful terrier kennels in Ireland for over 50 years and are currently the top

winning terrier kennel in Ireland. Our dogs have won many honours including Top Dog All Breeds

in Ireland on two occasions. We have owned the Top Sire Ireland/UK, Top Brood Bitch Ireland/UK

and many BIS, Groups and specialities and we have owned or bred over 40 champions.

Shillelagh’s main breeds are Kerry Blues and Smooth Fox Terriers, but we have owned

bred and exhibited many other breeds including Wire Fox Terrier, Wheaten Terriers,

Sealyham Terriers, Shar Pei, Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, and Min. Schnauser.

SEAN DELMAR FCI All Breeds Judge. Judged in all continents including World

and Section Shows many times.President of ‘The Irish Kennel

Club. During his 30 years as a council member of ‘The Irish

Kennel Club’ has served as Chairman of the General Purposes

Committee, Chairman of the Judges Committee, Vice President

and many other positions. Has presented breed appreciation and judging seminars for ‘Interra’

and many Breed and Group Clubs worldwide.His family ‘Shillelagh Kennels’ has been one of the

most significant terrier kennels in Ireland over the last 50 years winning many awards and

breeding/exhibiting countless champions.

ELZBIETA CHWALIBÓG

I received Masters Degree in Polish philology at the Warsaw

University. My kynologic carreer started in 1965. I used to

breed wire-haired and smooth-haired foxterriers, welsh terriers

and westies in the kennel "Z Jabłonowa". I handled my dogs all

around Europe. I have breeded more than 30 champions and

11 international champions only in smooth-haired foxterriers.

In 1969 I started to judge terriers. At present, I am an allround

judge except for the German shepherds. I am the author of the

books: "Terriers", "Beagle", "Terriers in Scotland" & others. I also write for several dog magazines.

HANS VAN DEN BERG I started showing dogs about 45 years ago. Since then I made

up many champions and cc winners in scottish terriërs, norfok

terriërs and chihuahua’s. Judging started in 1978 and since

then I’ve been travelling around the world. Apart from Europe

I judged in Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, New

Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Kenia, the US, Canada and

other countries. About my “highlights” in judging: I judged at 10 worldshows, did twice BIS at

the Winner show in Amsterdam ,judged 3 times BIS in England and was very honoured to judge

at Crufts.It is the first time I am judging in Slovakia and I am very much lookig forward to see

some of your lovely dogs.

NEMANJA JOVANOVIČ Nemanja Jovanović is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Under

the prefix Heartily, he breeds West Highland White Terriers, Scottish Terriers, and Jack Russel Terriers. Many of his dogs won the World, European, International, and Multi- beauty

championships.Nemanja Jovanović is an international judge

for FCI groups 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9. He judged at many interna-

tional shows in Australia,Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Estonia, Finland,

Germany, Gorgia, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Monte negro, Moldavia, Portugal, Romania, Russia,

Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden,Spain, Ukraine and Uruguay. He is a member of the

organisational committee of the Belgrade International Dog Show, a member of the Serbian

Toy Breed, Retriever, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Polar Breed clubs, and a chairman

of the Toy and Short-Legged Terrier Section of the Terrier Club of Serbia. He taking place as

a teacher in educatoin seminars for student judges organised by Serbian kennel club

and Faculty of Veterinary medicine in Belgrade.

SUSANNA WILES I had my first Labrador in Sweden in 1977. Her name was

Aroscas Funny Black Souvereign and she later became a

Swedish Champion. Her father was Sandylands Happy Jim

and here my admiration of the Sandylands Labradors started.

In 1985 I moved to England and married Richard who already

was an established Labrador judge and so the Richbourne

Kennel was formed and very much based on Sandylands and Rocheby lines combined.

We have had the fortune of making up a Show Champion Richbourne Star Light and International

Champion Richbourne Fly the Flag as well as many more CC winners and R.CC winners and

numerous Best of Breed winners.I started judging in 1985 and have had the honour to judge

Labradors in many countries all over the world including United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand,

India, Brazil, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Serbia,

Slovakia, Italy, Finland and Holland.I have also judged most other gundog breeds at open show

level as well as Gundog groups and Best In Show. I have been the Honorary Secretary of The

Yellow Labrador Club for many years which I very much enjoy and it gives me a good insight to

all aspects of our breed. I have also recently been appointed the secretary of The Labrador Breed

Council. I feel it a privilege to be able to give something back to our lovely breed which has already

given us so very much. I am most honoured to have been invited to judge Labradors in Slovakia

ĽUBOMÍR PERNIŠ Svojho prvého psíka som mal ako 13 ročný avšak nebol to

boxer ale nemecký ovčiak. Boxerov som začal chovať od roku

1992. Moja prvá sučka Oda z Pa-Mil bola z moravského chovu

od p. Panáčka a nej som si začal budovať CHS Boxrelay,

v ktorej som za 12 rokov odchoval veľa typických predstavite- ľov plemena, vždy hľadiac na vyrovnanosť exteriéru a povaho-

vých vlastností. V CHS boli využití takí špičkoví plemenníci,

svetoví víťazi ako Zeffiro della Cadormare, Baron rojo della

Villalba, Chaman della Talpa, Benito dello Azores a mnohí ďalší.

Niekoľko rokov som pracoval vo výbore SBK ako člen a viceprezident a tiež ako hlavný poradca

chovu. V roku 2001 som absolvoval skúšky rozhodcu pre exteriér s aprobáciou na plemeno

nemecký boxer a stal som sa národným rozhodcom a po uplynutí min. čakacej lehoty aj medzinárodným. Pískal som viacero klubových akcií v SR, ČR aj v Poľsku, podobne aj národné

a medzinárodné výstavy na území SR a Poľska. ANDREAS SCHEMEL I became involved in dogs as a teenager in 1977 when I got my

first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I started showing and

gained her Champion title. I got involved with Terriers when

I handled Kerry Blue Terriers as a teenager. At the same time I started stewarding at National and International shows and

officiated as a steward and interpreter for foreign judges

especially in Toy- Utility- and Terrier breeds. In 1985 I got the

permission to start the official judges training under the rules of the Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV)

and passed the examination in 1987.

The first breeds I was passed to judge by the Austrian Kennel Club were Japanese Chins, King

Charles Spaniels and Cavaliers.I am passed to award CACIB at International Shows under the

rules of the FCI in following breeds: Toys: whole group (excluding Miniature Pinscher and

Pomeranian) Terriers: complete Utility: Boston terrier, Dalmatian, French Bulldog, Lhasa Apso,

Poodle (Standard, Miniature, Dwarf and Toy), Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Tibetan Spaniel, Tibetan Terrier,

Perro sin pelo del Peru, Xoloitxcuintle, Tibetan Mastiff. Group judge: FCI IX (Companion-dogs),

FCI III (Terriers)

I have judged in almost all European countries, in most of them on a regular basis, as well as

in Russia, Israel, South Africa, Australia and the USA. I had the honor to judge at many

prestigious shows including World Shows in Brno CSFR 1991, Dortmund Germany 1992,

Bern Switzerland 1994, Brussels Belgium and Helsinki Finland 1998 European Winner Shows

Vienna 1999, Paris 2002 and in Vienna 2005 and Crufts in 2007, Amsterdam Winner Show.

Nordic Winner Show and BIS at UK Toy the biggest Toydog Show in world. I also have judged

Specialities in most Toybreeds and Non Sporting Breeds.

I am a veterinary surgeon specializing in small animal medicine and Veterinary Cardiology.

I was an active member of the Research Centre of Hip Dysplasia (Vienna) and represented

Austria in the newly formed working group which is trying to eradicate Patella Luxation.

I wrote my doctorate on heart valve disease in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have been health

advisor for the Kennel Club for Toy Breeds and I am the health coordinator for Pugs and have

done health clinics for Pekingese. I have bred/shown Cavaliers, King Charles Spaniels Pugs,

Griffons and Kerry Blue Terriers. I made up several Austrian and International Champions, one

World Champion and 2 English Champions. In 1993 I moved to England and in 1997 I became

a Member of the Kennel Club. I have been passed by the English Kennel Club to award CC’s

in following breeds (Affenpinscher, Bichon Frise, Cavaliers, Chihuahua L/C, Chihuahua S/C,

Chinese Crested, Griffons, Japanese Chins, King Charles Spaniel, Maltese, Lowchen, Papillion,

Pekingese, Pugs) and French Bulldog) and I am passed to judge the Toy Group.

Under the rules of the AKC I am passed for the Terrier Group, most Toybreeds and half

Non-Sporting breeds.

SOŇA HELDOVÁ Čaro kynológie som vlastne začala vnímať už ako dieťa. Zasvä- til ma do nej môj otec, ktorý bol poľovníkom a prvého psa mi daroval keď som mala polroka. Bol to český fúzač „DARO“ a prežila som s ním 7 nádherných rokov. Potom pribudli nemeckí krátkosrstí stavači. V roku 1977 si zakúpila svojho prvého nemeckého ovčiaka a v športovej kynológii som pokračovala aktívne až do roku 2003. V roku 1984 som splnila skúšky rozhodcu z výkonu pre národný skušobný poriadok. V roku 1990 sa venujem intenzívne chovu plemena čierny ruský teriér. Od roku 2001 som rozhodca pre exteriér . Mám odchovaných 16 vrhov . Naša CHS zaznamenala mnoho významných ocenení na výstavách - Svetový víťaz mladých 2002, Vice Svetový víťaz 2002, 2007. Svetová výstava 2006 – V2, R. CAC., rok 2009 Bratislava WDS - V3, V4, EŠV ČRT usporiadaná pri WDS 2009 – najúspešnejší mladý pes, dospelý pes i suka slovenského vystavovateľa. Momentálne chováme v našej CHS Čierny sen niekoľko plemien – čierny ruský teriér, kerry blue teriér, yorkshire teriér, čínsky chocholatý pes, anglický kokeršpaniel.
